The adPlaces application is a service related to the activities within the Facebook site. It enables remunerating the site users (e.g. a discount voucher, a corporate gadget etc) for ”checking in”– i.e. staying at a place determined by the Client and automatically informing their contacts about this on board. Such information may be visible even for a few days. The application has proved to perform excellently in case of restaurants, workshops, clinics etc. You can check in by cell phone (smart phone), staying at the specific place and using the “check in” option on the website. In order to get a discount voucher or another benefit, you must additionally install the adStone application. (Example: a discount for people who will have performed one ”checking in” during 5 days + a description, e.g. “The X Restaurant- the best in Gdańsk”, or a voucher for a person who will have most often checked in at a specific place among all participants in a month). Possible extensions: • checking in at many places (e.g. a network of cafes); • urban gaming (several places to be visited in a predetermined sequence); • time gaming (the first person to check in wins); • additional advertising information in the message on the boards (Adam check in at the X Restaurant: They serve the best duck in the city here.). • distinguishing the offer against others; • interactions with potential Clients; • building Customers’ loyalty; • viral spreading of advertisement messages. |
